Stewart Harris – Great Winter Chubbing..

Well things have been a little quiet of late on the catch report front, unfortunately some issues have restricted my fishing to short lure fishing trips during the day for the last 3 or 4 months or so.  But not all is bad…..
However I have managed to get out for a few chub sessions over the last fortnight bagging a good number of fish over 5lb, which included these five that all went over 6lb.

The weights were in ; 7.1, 6.10, 6.5, 6.4 & 6.2, not bad sport especially in the sub zero temperatures and a couple of times with snow on the ground.

All the fish were taken on a homemade boilie and paste combo fished running style with the ever reliable Snag Safe Lead Clip (ET11) and Protect a bead (ET09).
